Recent reviews describe full-day investigation appointments where owners stay closely involved, including advanced diagnostics (CT scan, ultrasound) alongside hands-on therapies (chiropractic, acupuncture, shockwave). Thank you so much to the whole team for your beyond 5 star service yesterday for Ink with his CT scan, ultrasound and chiropractic treatment. Everything about his whole experience could not have been handled more gently or considerately. In the 5 and a half hours we were there, we always had at least 1 and often 2 members of staff with us. Carol even sent me a photo of Ink in the CT scan! This was the only time I wasn't with him - I noted there were 4 staff looking after him in the scan. I just cannot thank you enough for everything you've done and look forward to seeing you in 2 weeks for Ink's follow up chiropractic appointment. Obviously Ink can't say thank you personally but he's really bouncy today (we're trying to give him a quiet day!) and is obviously feeling great!

I was recommended the Renew Centre by many dog owners who have had excellent care through them for their reactive dogs. Although I live in Cornwall I decided to make the mission to go there. I am beyond pleased that we did. From the first contact all staff were incredibly helpful and did the utmost to explain every step. This helped so much to put my mind at ease. Having a reactive dog is always stressful but I was not judged and neither was my dog. They are a wonderful team and I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are considering going to see them with your dog then do not hesitate. It will be so worth it. Thank you so much to everyone at the renew centre.

Bess received the usual wonderful care and attention that Rachel and Emma always offer. She is a very highly strung collie who is fearful of everyone apart from her immediate family. All of the staff are aware of the individual needs of each dog and are calm and sensitive, adapting any handling, the environment and the treatment accordingly.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Indi can be reactive to new things but the staff were not fearful (like my vet) and did what needed to be done. She underwent z lot of tests and treatments and I was kept informed and asked for permission for anything not previously discussed. Indi is already showing great signs of improvement and driving me crazy because I am making her rest and not go crazy in the garden. I hope I don't need their services again, but would not hesitate to use them if I did

My dog Bonnie has been having ongoing hydrotherapy and physiotherapy from an excellent local rehabilitation centre for the past 11 months following her surgery for Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease. All seemed good until a few months ago when both therapists felt that Bonnie had developed a problem in her lumbar region. Both agreed that further investigation was needed and highly recommended the Renew Centre as they have an excellent reputation in the therapy field for their knowledge in this type of medical condition. So, today was Bonnie’s initial assessment with Rachel at the Renew Centre and I’m so glad I decided to do the 2 hour drive to get there. It was so apparent that their entire attention is on your dogs well being, all the staff create a loving safe environment to put your dog at ease and Rachel explains everything in great detail during her assessment. I know that this is just the start of my journey with the Renew Centre but I already feel Bonnie is in very safe experienced hands and feel confident that Bonnie will be receiving the very best treatment. Bonnie was very chilled out following Rachel’s acupuncture today and slept most of the journey back home but I’m sure Bonnie was dreaming of her next Renew visit for her cheesy treats from Carol!

I visited Rachel and her amazing team at the Renew Centre, Uley, Gloucestershire in August 25 with my beloved sprocker Ziggy. He had shown intermittent lameness in a front leg put down to a variety of causes but not resolved. Having excelled in agility for 4 years, I asked our community for advice and the Renew Centre came out tops. It was a 2hr 45min drive from Sussex, but worth every second. The continuity of care, explanations, and involvement throughout a full day of investigations was something I had not seen at a veterinary establishment before. This is the best chance of avoiding a life on anti inflammatory drugs that Ziggy has, and we are hoping for a good outcome.

We have had our first visit to the Renew Centre and are very impressed. So much care and consideration was given to get Loki feeling as relaxed and happy as possible to enable a good examination. After 18 months of back-and-forth stressful visits to our own vet, we actually feel like we’re getting somewhere in just one visit here! Rachel was brilliant at explaining what she thinks may be going on whilst Carol kept Loki happily distracted and comfortable. Everything was calm and friendly and explained clearly, and we now have a plan of action and a sense of relief that we are finally getting somewhere. Thank you! Update (3 months later) : we have now had several visits and treatments, including chiropractic treatment by Emma. It was fascinating to understand what was going on and how it works and it has made a huge difference. As always Loki was made to feel comfortable and relaxed. Further exploration of the issue was needed and after an ultrasound and a shockwave treatment, he has made great progress. We can see a big difference in him and whilst the treatment is ongoing (further chiropractic and physio) we feel visiting the Renew Centre was the best decision we have made and has been well worth the time and effort. All the staff there are friendly and welcoming and we are extremely grateful.

I was quite nervous because of Gypsy being reactive to other dogs but I need not have worried as everything went smoothly. Emma took her time getting to know Gypsy and going at her pace which was great. Emma assessed Gypsy's walk & trot and then check her all over. The actual treatment was really quick. It was lovely to see that Gypsy's back legs could be extended with Gypsy being happy about this. Most often, at the vets and when being massaged Gypsy struggles when they try to extend her back legs, particularly the right so really happy to see this. I also really appreciated Emma explaining what she was assessing & what her treatment was and answering all my questions. Back in 3 weeks to see if Gypsy has managed to maintain full flexibility or if she needs a little bit more treatment.

My dog Bonnie had a slight change in behaviour (sound sensitive) and went slightly lame. I’d gone to two different vets and both visits I didn’t really get much of an outcome that’s when I decided to self refer to the renew after hearing great things. Everything they did was thorough and explained to me in detail. She’s had 3 visits now and were very much back to normal! Bonnie can sometimes lack confidence with people and new places but she absolutely loves her visits to the renew and would probably like to go every week 😂
